Adoré dance and choreography are as eclectic as her multicultural heritage. Her artistry soars on wings of gymnastics, acrobatics and ballet, although its roots are grounded in Middle Eastern, Brazilian, and African dance. She is a fourth generation artist in a family where self-expression is as necessary as air or water. Dance is essential to her being. In addition to touring as a solist and choreographer with Bellydance Superstars, she is also a member of the Screen Actors Guild who has built a broad range of film credits under her given name, Dori Levitt.
Adoré teaches as well as performs, and donates her skills to charities for at risk girls and women.
Over the years, Adoré collected the tools necessary to forge her unique style of dance and choreography. Brought up in the village of South Orange, NJ, thirty minutes from Manhattan, her career was launched by chance at age three, when she simultaneously began ballet and gymnastics, and booked her first commercial for Tinkerbell Cosmetics. Throughout her childhood and teen years, she performed as a soloist with both New Jersey Ballet and Garden State Ballet, and competed nationally as a United States Gymnastic Federation Elite ranked gymnast. She studied bellydance with famed NYC choreographer, Serena. She studied tap with Tony Award winning choreographer Henry Le Tang, who recruited her for the Off Broadway show Back in the Big Time. Currently, she is director and choreographer of the musical revue HerSong.
